Is Legoland suitable for you kids?

Visited Legoland recently and would like to share my thought and experience.

Is Legoland suitable for child under 6? That's the question I always ask myself since it launch a few years back.

The experience at Legoland was really like a roller coaster, in fact we started the ride with roller coaster too.

First ride, Roller Coaster. The minimum height is 120cm. My eldest son was about that height and we decided to give it a try. And I can tell you, this is a mistake. You shouldn't start the day with roller coaster. It is too excited for the kid which first time experience the G-force produced from a roller coaster. In order to calm the boy, i kept talking to him on his favorite topic to reduce his fear.

I would suggest to start from the right side to warm up which you will find Boat ride and driving school.

There are 3 rides which more suitable for children above 12 years old such as the The Dragon (adult roller coaster). There is also a junior dragon ride which young children above 100cm can play. Surprisingly my youngest one enjoyed the ride so much.

Lunch is expensive as expected, and don't expect too much. I would recommend Pizza Mania because the restaurant's aircon is cold. Some restaurant sell burger at RM25 each and without aircon.

For Star War fans, don't miss these.

We started the day at 10am and leave about 6pm due to rain. Overall, we are lucky because of cloudy day and only start raining around 4pm.

Overall, Legoland is fun and suitable for children above 6 years old or 120cm and above. That doesn't mean you cannot bring your young children to Legoland, you have to skip few rides due to height and safety concern.

Simple trick to improve productivity - time interval in excel

I always spent a lot of time to prepare reports and want to find a way to be more productive so I can go back early to play with my boys.

This is a useful feature in excel which I don't know and have to manually key in the time with 5 minutes interval. You can simply define the pattern and drag it. Excel is smart enough to populate the value with formula define in first 3 rows.

Perth Self Drive - Last day in Perth

It was our last day at Perth. Must fully utilise the time before fly back. Today's weather is good but we need to rush back to Perth city and return the car before 5pm. So it is not possible to visit Cape Leeuwin or any cave which we missed yesterday.

Surprisingly, my boys wake up early because they want to feed their favorite animals. Seem like they really enjoyed feeding the animal especially Kangaroo. Perhaps I should include farm stay in my yearly overseas trip. After tool a delicious breakfast prepared by my mother in-law and it is time to say goodbye to Margaret River.
I will definitely come back to Margaret River if I will visit Perth again.

Busselton Jetty, the only place we visit before heading back to Perth city. This is one of the must-go attraction in my list. Busselton Jetty is 1.8 km long and there is a tram service available.
We decided to walk and enjoy the windy day instead. According to one of the neighbors stayed next to our unit, Buselton Jetty was closed yesterday due to the unusual weather.

Finally reached the destination after 1.8km walk. To be frank, nothing special here. So don't spend time to walk to the end. I rather stop in the middle, take a good rest and enjoy the sun.
If you have a tight schedule, better take the tram. I underestimate the distance and spent a lot of time here. We only reach Perth city about 2:45pm and everyone was hungry result from this,

The beach was destroyed by the waves yesterday.

After settling our lunch, I dropped them at Perth city and return the car. Wasted a lot of time because just because I need to return car before 5pm. Next time I would rather pay more and rent the car from the airport and return when I go airport to check in.

Spot a beautiful tree when I walk to Bell Tower. From the google street view, it seems like there is ongoing construction around the Bell Tower area. I hope it is an outdated photo so I can see the beautiful Bell Tower.

Arg...too bad. Construction is still going on.

Murray street, famous tourist shopping area. You can only find restaurants after 5pm.

There is one famous Japaneses restaurant named Taka at the left side of Murray Street, cheap and good. We take our early dinner before grab a taxi to the airport.

Good Bye, Perth.
